Working on some quick starts and stops. Begin by doing a crossover start followed by a stop, then immediately another crossover start in the opposite direction followed by a stop.
The quick changes in direction will improve your agility on the ice. It is useful when you need to get around players and create space(especially in small areas), thus allowing you to be open for passes that create scoring opportunities.
